The Stock Guide module allows the user to explore the database with great flexibility. Some of its features are:

Stock screening
This function will find stocks that meet any analyst-defined search criteria (ex: list stocks with volatility under 30%, dividend yield greater than 6%, and companies with return on equity greater than 15% and debt-to-equity less than 60%).

 

Sector averages
The user can calculate averages of indicators (P/BV, debt-to-equity, share value, etc) for a group of companies in the same sector or a group defined by the user.

The Stock Guide can be programmed to update spreadsheets in other applications (Excel, etc).
